This is an intermediate Greek reading unit that exposes students to substantial excerpts from all four Gospels, Acts, and a variety of epistles from the New Testament. Some extra-canonical works may be covered according to the students' interests. This unit will be taught online using a communicative approach where students, in addition to increasing their vocabulary and understanding of grammar, also practise listening, writing, and speaking Koiné Greek for the purpose of developing their proficiency in reading. This is an ideal unit for students who wish to consolidate their Greek and/or who are intending to undertake research in the New Testament or Patristics.
