Content

This unit considers the relationship between the doctrine of Christ and the doctrine of salvation. It surveys New Testament foundations, as well as representative patristic, medieval, and modern theologians as they have considered this relationship. Topics covered include the two natures of Christ, historic atonement theories, black, feminist, and liberationist Christologies and the extent of the salvation offered in Christ.
