The unit considers the place and importance of spirituality in its various forms within educational leadership. It then focuses on Christian spirituality (particularly the Lutheran tradition) in the lives of school leaders, including the spiritual disciplines which support their leadership role. The unit concludes with a focus on the spiritual dimension of school life, including corporate and individual worship and service.

Pedagogy

This unit uses teaching strategies (e.g. engagement with online learning materials, including audio/video, tasks, forums, and synchronous and asynchronous discussion) which encourage student engagement and participation in a variety of learning tasks and opportunities which foster deep learning.
