This unit will assist supervisors and spiritual directors to develop a deeper appreciation of the range of theological worlds out of which those they are supervising may be operating. Beginning with the unique narratives of the students, this unit explores how images of God (theological and Christological frameworks) usually emerge from family, religious affiliation, educational, social, language and cultural experiences. The unit offers theory and opportunities for exploring personal narrative in relation to these contemporary frameworks.
