This unit is an introduction to the diverse and expanding ministry area called chaplaincy. We will be covering the theological basis for Christian chaplaincy work from Lutheran point of view, but also in a way which is inclusive of and welcoming to other Christian traditions. We will explore the nature of chaplaincy work in general, but will also take a closer look at four particular common types of chaplaincy.
