This unit is part of the Indigenous theologies program that is delivered and led by NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community, an international Indigenous led organisation delivering quality education and community programs worldwide. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Board members, faculty and community members are directly involved in the design, delivery, and control of all NAIITS programs.

Students will participate throughout semester in a mixture of synchronous & asynchronous online class sessions with a faculty team of Australian and international faculty. This unit is part of our NAIITS Indigenous theology program, which provides the opportunity for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous participants to explore theology, history, and the practice of ministry from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and world Indigenous perspectives.

Students enrolling in units within this program are asked to complete a NAIITS Application form. This is additional to the University enrolment form.

The NAIITS Application form is reviewed by the NAIITS staff coordinating and delivering the units to provide them with some background and context for the class group. They may contact you to introduce themselves, get to know you a little and give you the opportunity to find out more about the unit content, how it will be delivered and the learning community in which you will participate. This all assists the NAIITS team in creating an inclusive learning environment for all participants. The NAIITS representative in Australia who may contact you is Naomi Wolfe, who also has a role as First Peoples Coordinator within the University of Divinity.

NAIITS Application form available from the NAIITS section of the Whitley website Please email completed NAIITS Application form to registrar@whitley.edu.au.
