Delivery Notes: | This unit introduces the student to the classical biblical Christian tradition of pastoral care and counsel, and explores how this tradition relates to and interacts with contemporary psycho-social models of counselling in the context of Christian communities and congregations. There is a distinct focus in this unit on the pastoral care and counselling skills that are employed in the context of the ordained pastoral ministry within the context of the Lutheran Congregation. |
