Introductory Koine Greek (AL1321Z)

Content

This foundational unit introduces students to the Koine Greek language of the New Testament and other Judaeo-Christian texts. The unit will build capacity in basic grammar, vocabulary and communicative approaches, including listening and speaking Greek. Students will learn the significance of the New Testament and other Koine texts for biblical and theological study and ministry preparation. Short passages from the New Testament, Septuagint and early Christian authors will be translated.
