Delivery Notes:

Delivery: the unit will run from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday evenings for classroom and online students. Those who enrol for face to face delivery are expected to attend the class at the CTM for the duration of the unit unless other arrangements are made. Classes will be planned to enable blended learning between classroom and online attendees, and aspects will be recorded for class use.

Class Preparation: Students are expected to prpare for each week of class by (a) watching the relevant introductory video, orienting to the set text for that week; (b) completing the relevant tutorial reading; and (c) coming to the class ready to answer tutorial questions and partici[ate in tutorial discussion in an informed way.

Resources provided: Weekly video introductions, tutorial readings and instructions, and links to recommended extended reading options are provided on the ARK meta unit. Students will need to undertake independent research via the library to complete assessment tasks.

Attendance Expectations: Students are expected to attend all classes. If extenuating circumstances prevent you from being in class you are encouraged to contact the lecturer in advance.

Workload Expectations: Students studying in this unit are expected to set aside sufficient hours per week throughout the semester including the mid-semester break in order to complete the required readings, class participation activities, and assessment tasks.
