Key developments in 20th century theology are explored through an engagement with relevant figures and their primary texts. This exploration is done against the backdrop of the political, social and cultural realities that were taking place at that time. Students will demonstrate how theological proposals from the 20th century can be engaged with in relation to current personal and social challenges.

A prior unit in theology.
The pedagogical framework involves Flipped Classroom and social constructivism. Teaching and Learning activities flow from the above pedagogical frameworks, and hence involve, group work, pre-reading, quizzes, peer to peer activities, lecturing content, video presentations and gaming.
