Students in this unit will critically engage with the key themes in John Wesley’s theology around the central theme of ‘grace’, through a comprehensive study of the eighteenth-century foundations of Wesleyan theology, its subsequent development, the place of Wesleyan theology within ecumenical thought, and its relevance to contemporary theology and ministry practice.
