This unit will examine emerging trends in world christianity and how missiology is adapting to the sweeping changes ushered in by urbanisation and globalisation. Among topics explored are the ethics of and justification for mission today, the role of the local church in mission, the value of ethnography (and other anthropological tools) for Christian mission, and the practices of public faith(fulness) in post-Christian contexts.
