This unit focuses on the practical dynamics of publicly communicating the word, and practising the various skills of sermon exegesis, writing and preaching, as they are appropriate to various preaching contexts.

Teaching input from the lecturer, seminar style dialogue and discussion, reviewing and discussing pre-reading materials, class exercises practicing skills and methods, impromptu speaking, class presentations of sermon study materials, with students coaching one another and providing feedback.
