It explores key approaches to and theologies for the management of change in groups, examines leadership as a vocation within the Christian community, and equips students with resources in the dynamics of personal and interpersonal decision-making.

Learning outcomes

1.

Analyse and evaluate contemporary approaches and procedures for the management of organisational change;

Demonstrate awareness of the impact of personality, preferred leadership styles, styles of learning, and other unconscious realities on group dynamics and decision-making;

3.

Apply theological and organisational concepts to two case studies in organisational change, with an emphasis on setting priorities for change;

4.

Articulate a theological vision for faithful leadership within community and/or church-based organisations.
