This unit focuses on advanced spiritual care techniques to care for people who have experienced grief and interpersonal conflict. Students will further develop their ability to offer a non-anxious presence through informed reflective practice. You will learn to manage conflict in spiritual care settings by respecting and responding openly to alternative perspectives and find mutually beneficial solutions.

Unit sequence

This unit assumes advanced practical experience in Spiritual Care and/or prior completion of DP8011P Spiritual Care: Independent Practitioner or DP9031P Spiritual Care: Senior Practitioner

This unit is specifically designed for chaplains and spiritual care workers with practitioner experience but it can also include extensive pastoral ministry placements that involve community outreach.
