Content

This unit will enable students to explore the application of Group Counselling and Psychotherapy in their professional practice. There will be an experiential focus on participation in, and facilitation of group sessions using ethical and theoretical underpinnings. Students will develop knowledge and skills relating to group development, facilitation, and leadership towards fostering therapeutic change in the group setting. There will also be a focus of critical reflection on the process of group practice.
